Dr. Phillip Jeffrey Greene - Board Certified in Family Medicine

Currently serving as a medical director at Health Plus Clinic in Oak Park, Missouri, Dr. Phillip Jeffrey Greene is a board certified practitioner with more than two decades of clinical and leadership experience. He earned a BS in biology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to receive his doctor of medicine (MD) from the University of Missouri Medical School as a National Health Service Corps scholarship recipient. Dr. Phillip Jeffrey Greene completed his residency in family medicine at Deaconess Hospital, where he gained extensive training in trauma and cardiac life support.

Phillip Jeffrey Greene, MD, has served in diverse roles over his career, including as a physician with Alton Forensic Psychiatric Hospital, where he was recognized as provider of the month six times, and as a hospitalist at South City Hospital. He also served as a military doctor in the United States Air Force Reserve, achieving the rank of major. In addition, he has held long-standing roles as a primary care physician at Clinical Medical Services and as a collaborating physician at St. Louis Men’s Clinic.

As a medical director at Health Plus Clinic, Dr. Greene liaises between the clinic’s administration and healthcare providers in hiring, medical guidance, and policies. He further supervises nurse practitioners and oversees patient care. Away from clinical practice, he has delivered multiple grand rounds presentations on public health topics and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Illinois State Medical Society.
